Dr. Bob Taylor will be visiting Chambersburg as the speaker for our 2010 Spring Bible Conference. The conference theme will be “Lessons from the 23rd Psalm,” a focused look at what is perhaps the most well known chapter in the Bible. The Bible Conference will open on Sunday, April 11 during the normal Sunday services and will continue nightly at 7:00PM through Wednesday, April 14. In addition to solid Bible preaching from Dr. Taylor, the CBC Choir will provide special music each evening. The nursery will be available throughout the week for infants and toddlers.
Dr. Taylor attended Bob Jones University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible. He pastored in Greeneville, Tennessee and in 1974 founded the Campus Church of Pensacola Christian College. In 1988 he became the pastor of Colonial Hills Baptist Church where he served faithfully for 20 years until retiring in 2009. Dr. Taylor and his wife, Joan have three sons and eight grandchildren.

Join us on Wednesday, December 23 for our annual Candlelight Christmas Carol & Hymn Sing! Although we will not be having a Christmas Eve Service this year, we hope that you and your family will join us on Wednesday night for fellowship in the candlelight as we sing the Carols of Christmas, praise our Lord and Savior, and spend some quiet time in Prayer. Immediately following our special service, we will have Christmas Cookies for all!
