The Annual Fall Missions Conference is upon us again, and our theme this year is “Investing in Eternity.”  Matthew 6:19-20 states, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” We are thrilled to have the opportunity to support missions here in Chambersburg, throughout the United States, and in many countries around the World. Our missions conference theme this year intends to draw our hearts and minds towards our responsibility for kingdom living, investing our time, energy, prayers, and resources in that which pays dividends in eternity! It has been our conviction that when we have enough prayer support, the Lord will give us enough financial support to start our church planting ministry. Now, with close to 1,000 people receiving our prayer letter directly and many others through their church, the Lord is opening the door for our departure. With 95% of our support in place, we are making firm plans to move in October. This will give us time to pack, sell our house, and hold several more meetings to wrap up our deputation ministry. Since our last writing, we have had a few changes in our lives.  September 1st, Bob changed job positions.  He moved from Barn Manager to the position of Assistant Director.  He still continues to help with the preparations for the rental groups.  He has been doing a lot of master planning drawings.  He has been helping Ted with many different projects this fall and winter. This fall and winter, camp had one junior snow camp and two teen winter retreats.  At the junior camp, we had over 100 campers.  At the teen retreats, we had about 40 campers!  Our Lakeside Program Director has been working on a new ministry to one of the villages across Kachemak Bay.  Once a month, some of the guys from camp fly to the village of Nanwalek and do a weekend camp.  Several of the kids will be attending... Read More →
