This Saturday, March 12th our teens will be attending the Fellowship of Bible Churches Youth Conference held at the Kasiesville Bible Church in Mercersburg. The theme of the conference is entitle “Created by God” with the theme verse coming from 2 Corinthians 5:17 which says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” All Christians need to realize that when they are saved, they are a “new creation” with new opportunities and new responsibilities to serve God. AWANA Clubbers — are you ready for a wild and wacky night at AWANA CLUBS? February 16th is LAYER NIGHT! Wear as many layers as you possibly can, one on top of the other! The top 5 clubbers (in total counted layers) will receive an AWANA Prize and BONUS participation points! The current challenge is to see if any clubbers can get to 100 Layers, so let’s see your best Michelin Man Impression! Thursday Night Basketball started on January 6 for the winter season. This basketball outreach activity is open to the church family and members of the local community, offering a time to play pickup basketball starting at 7PM. Each week, the guys typically shoot for teams, then play rotating games to a set point value (win by 2). Halfway through the night, everybody gets to take a short break for a devotional and challenge from the Bible.
