On Sundays we are through the Sermon on the Mount. This past Sunday Sid dealt with one of the beatitudes – blessed are they that mourn, for they shall receive comfort. We had two people come forward and asked God for forgiveness for some sins in their lives. Praise the Lord for the Holy Spirit’s convicting power. This Saturday the entire church will go out to the country to a property owned by one of the members. We plan on having some good food, playing games, petting some cows, building a camp fire and giving a challenge out of God’s word. Pray for our safety and that the Lord would bless our time together in a special way. Pray that this will contribute to the bonding of the people of our church. VBS is for all kids in the community ages 4 through the grade 6 and will begin on Sunday Night, July 25 and run throughout the week until July 29. Winter could not stop the rebirth of spring…Death could not prevent Jesus from seizing life again……And Nothing could ever separate us from His love! What a wonderful promise to us as we enter into the season of spring Do continue to pray for our two new camps, Cornerstone Ministry Center in SWPA, and Camp Red Arrow in Virginia as they strive to complete the renovations to allow for camp activities to take place on the grounds this summer and fall. Pray that God will send the any volunteers and the finances needed to complete so major projects at each site.
