“Missions Moments” is a weekly blog of updates and letters from our missionaries serving the Lord around the world. It is our desire that the work of the Lord through missions would continue to flourish, and one of the primary means by which believers can become involved in world missions is through prayer. Many of our missionaries send email updates regarding the work the Lord is doing through their ministries, and when possible, we would like to share what God is doing through His choice servants. Remember to always keep our missionaries in your prayers, and we will praise the Lord with you when the Lord answers prayer in ways we never thought possible!
Country of Spain We have arrived in Spain!! It was a very long trip this time due to a delayed flight from Charlotte and then when we got to Germany they have us a 3 plus hour layover instead of 30 minutes like it was said when I purchased the tickets. When we left back in March our van had troubles and we had, or thought we had, a person to fix it when we left but that didn’t happen so when we got in yesterday we still do not have a vehicle. Next week we plan on traveling to the new city of Plasencia to try and find a house to call home for the next few years. Please continue to pray about that with us. As for ministry, we are just returning and currently have no ministry to work in but once we find a house we can move to Plasencia and begin a new work there with the folk. ... Read this Post →
Thanks so much for your prayers and support. August was a very busy month. We held one week of revival service at Solid Rock Baptist Church of Tema. We praise God for three hundred that attended. A few souls got saved with many re-dedications. Vera and the children attended a youth camp for a week. Vera and Gideon served as counselors while Miriam and Martha went as campers. Prior to that we attended another Youth conference for three days. Both Vera and myself were speakers. We reopened our Bible College on 21st of August. We received five new students this year including our first female student! Vera felt that since we live on campus, she would take advantage to study so she could teach and counsel better, so she enrolled and became our first female student. She is still working with the...
