The Fellowship of Bible Churches is sponsoring a missions trip to Peru, South America in the last week of January 2010, led by Pastor John Miller. Pastor Ben Fisler will be traveling with the team to serve the Lord in Peru while representing the Chambersburg Bible Church. This opportunity will present much needed support to the national church leaders in Peru while ministering to the youth and other believers in local churches. Evangelizing the lost is also a critical component of the trip, as the team seeks to fulfill the great commission as commanded by our Lord in Matthew 28:16-20Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

- LEADING A CHURCH LEADERS / TEACHERS SEMINAR – Effective teaching techniques, evangelism training, words of wisdom
- PAINTING

- PREACHING / SINGING / SHARING TESTIMONIES IN CHURCHES
- CONDUCTING VARIOUS VBS PROGRAMS
- Being available for any other “doors” the LORD opens.
Please keep the team, and our Youth Pastor, in prayer throughout the coming weeks, asking the Lord to:
- Prepare hearts for the Gospel of Christ
- Enable the team to be effective in ministry
- Success for the pastoral training
- Souls to be saved in VBS and other ministries
- Completion of the ministry projects
- Safety for the team as they travel many miles
