We just completed our second trip out West with meetings in Iowa and Colorado. We are exhausted, having dealt with both cold and stomach bugs, but we are grateful for the many opportunities we had to serve our great God. What a joy it is to preach God’s Word and see the Spirit of God using His Word to transform people. Our ministry right now is among God’s people in the United States, but we anticipate commencing our ministry in the Netherlands this year. We praise the Lord for the continued increase in our support as we now have nearly 65% of our financial needs.

As the economy slowly recovers from the recession, please pray with us for the remaining churches to join our support team by faith. We are praying that the Lord will enable us to leave for the Netherlands by the end of this summer. Each church also provides us with more prayer warriors who are committed to upholding us before the throne of grace. We do not underestimate this benefit of the deputation ministry. Our spring schedule is full, mostly on the East coast, and we eagerly look forward to how the Lord will work both in and through us.
We keep close tabs on what is happening in the Netherlands, and ask you to pray for the local government elections coming up. Also, with the recent collapse of a fairly conservative coalition cabinet, there is another opportunity for left-wing parties to gain influence in parliament. While total freedom to preach against sin is still present, Satan would love to put people in office who would hinder the work of God. Please pray for God’s mercy on this nation and the salvation of souls.

Thank you for your faithful support and prayer!

Come over into Macedonia and help us . . . We got that call from the Philippines back in 2000 and several times since, but have always been “hindered” in going. Now God has opened the door and Ruby and l will fly in April and minister there through the first week in May. We will appreciate your fervent prayers for we have a rather Olympian schedule. Some of the opportunities we will have include the Maximum Security Prison in Manila, where I will speak to graduates of our Source of Light school inside the prison – what a blessing! We will also have several opportunities to minister to both police and the military. ln addition, we will conduct a total of four WWBI Training Seminars in different sections of the islands to equip our brothers there to set up Bible lnstitutes for the training of their own people.

Finally, we will be speaking at the celebration of 30 years of Source of Light Ministry there in the Philippines. We are coming down the home stretch to the completion of the WWBI project. Of course, in one sense, it will never be complete for we will continue upgrading material as needed from time to time. But the gargantuan task that was before us when my predecessor, Dr. Glenn Dix, asked me to take over and complete this project, is now nearly over. Everything is complete but the final proofing of several of the last courses and three years, six semesters, and 135 credit units of Bible Study curriculum is now ready to go world-wide. Materials have just recently gone to contacts in Austria. In just two seeks we will be hosting our annual meeting of the Board of Directors. All of our Board members will be coming in for those two intensive days of work and blessing. At the Awards service on Monday evening we will have the pleasure of hosting the Chorale from Appalachian Bible College. We are planning to have that event at Centennial Baptist Church since our own auditorium is still being used for offices. By the way, that evening is open to the public and we would be delighted if you could share it with us. The drywall is almost complete on the downstairs of Headquarters and we will soon be ready for paint. I have volunteered to attack this rather formidable task (over 1,200r 1,200

square feet) when it is ready. Thanks for your many prayers and your encouragement. Reports continue to come in from all over the world telling of souls saved and believers strengthened. We know that nothing happens except by prayer, so keep praying and God bless you.

Still Amazed by His Grace,

Bill &Ruby Shade
