Our VBS this year will be led be the Wylers on Wheels!

Traveling in full-time ministry since 1992, Evangelist Doug Wyler and his family are proclaiming the glorious Gospel in evangelistic meetings at Independent, Bible-believing churches across America. Over the years, the Lord has worked mightily through the Wylers on Wheels ministry. By God’s grace, they have seen hundreds of souls saved, churches strengthened, and families encouraged. They are “A Family Founded on Faith, Going with the Gospel!”

As a family, the Lord is using the Wylers on Wheels to spread the Gospel in churches and other ministries across North America. Since 1992, Evangelist Doug Wyler and his family have traveled full-time in evangelistic ministry in all 48 continental United States and Canada. Although the main focus of the Wyler’s outreach is preaching the Gospel, the entire family is involved in many aspects. Every member is active in several areas of the ministry including: music, dramas, “Kids 4 Christ” program, and various other areas. Over the years, the Lord has worked mightily through their evangelistic ministry.

Doug and Ronda Wyler and Family

Growing up on a farm, Doug learned practical lessons for life, but through the ministry of his future father-in-law’s church, God changed his life and molded him for his future ministry. In 1984, he graduated from Bob Jones University and married his wife Ronda (Merril), a 1982 graduate of Pensacola Christian College. Early on, God gave them tremendous opportunities to serve in local churches, especially in music and children’s ministries. Then in 1992 the Lord called them into full-time evangelism. God has given Doug and Ronda five children, (Jethniel, Jerrill, Joel, Javonda, and Jaron) who are all an intricate part of their ministry.

Jethniel and Judy Wyler

Jethniel, Doug and Ronda’s oldest son, graduated with a music degree from Pensacola Christian College in 2008. He then married Judy (Sensenig) from Ephrata, PA, a 2009 graduate with a missions degree from PCC. Traveling with the family since May 2009, Jethniel directs the music ministries and also designs and updates the website. Both Jethniel and Judy serve actively in the “Kids 4 Christ” children’s ministries.

Text: Matthew 5:13-16Matthew 5:13-16
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. a bushel: the word in the original signifieth a measure containing about a pint less than a peck 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Topic:
Admonishing the believer to fulfill his patriotic duty

On this Independence Day 2010, we should examine our patriotic duty as understood from the scripture, while also considering our freedom in Christ from sin and death.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” We as American Christians have a patriotic duty as citizens in the greatest nation on earth to stand up for and defend the freedoms God has blessed us with.

Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
